But you have no knowledge about colors and to make things even worse, you’re not very artistic. If so, then don’t fret because we’re going to help you. Red

The burning red has been proven to increase a room’s energy level, which is perfect in case you’ve come home after a long tired day. This color suits best to a living room, where all the people gather or where you want to sit down with a hot chocolate in your hand and a book. Besides leaving a strong impression, it also stimulates your excitement, mainly when you’re thinking to have fun during the night with your mate.

Blue

colorIf the red color screams excitement, energy, and passion, the color blue says the exact opposite of the color red. Blue is linked to calming, relaxing and peaceful, which usually would make an excellent choice for a bedroom or a bathroom, depending on your preference. A soft shade of blue, say as a pastel blue might fit for your bathroom, so consider this as a choice if you want some calming effects on your room.

Tip: a darker shade of blue might make your room feels full of sorrow, so you might want to be careful of that.

Purple

Purple, violet, whatever you call it, is another excellent color choice in case you want a particular room to feel luxurious. This color suits well for a fancy living room or a dining room, but not restricted to a bedroom, as long as you choose a lighter shade of purple, such as lavender.

Orange

The color orange is perfect for those who want to evoke excitement, perhaps not as burning as red, but not as calming as blue or yellow.
